Disqus Windows 10 universal app is on the horizon

April 2023 · 2 minute read

Disqus is arguably the most popular comment platform on the web, so when a developer who works for the company says it is working on a Windows 10 UWP app and posted an image on the web, users should get excited. He also said the beta is coming soon, so we’re looking forward to that.

To make things even more interesting, the Disqus UWP app won’t just be released for Windows 10, but for Windows 10 Mobile as well. In the past, the same developer had reported that the Disqus UWP app was coming soon for Windows 10, though up to this point, we’re not sure how soon is his version of soon.

Disqus, as stated above, is a comment platform for both website developers and the online community. The platform stores all comments in the cloud, which means, website developers will always have access to comments no matter what happened to their website.

While the platform is great for allowing readers to leave comments and have discussions with other readers, it tends to have problems when it comes down to spam. It has surely failed in that regard, but despite that, most developers feel the good outweighs the bad.

Hey, look, we’re also using Disqus, so how about getting a discussion started?
