If you’re running Windows 8.1, we’ve got a good piece of news for you. December Patch Tuesday brought two updates to the OS, KB4054519 and KB4054522 that add the exact same improvements and fixed featured by their Windows 7 counterparts.
Monthly rollup KB4054519 includes all the improvements and fixes introduced by update KB4050946 which was released last month, as well as three additional improvements:
- Addresses issue where users of SQL Server Reporting Services may not be able to use the scrollbar in a drop-down list.
- Addresses additional issues with updated time zone information.
- Security updates to the Microsoft Scripting Engine and Windows Server.
Security update KB4054522 brings two improvements:
- Addresses additional issues with updated time zone information.
- Security updates to the Microsoft Scripting Engine and Windows Server.
