From November 30, consumers with EA Access or Origin Access will be able to participate in the free trial scheme hosted by Electronic Arts for Titanfall 2. For those who don’t, they will have to wait until December 2 to get their hands on the all-you-can-kill multiplayer title. There is still no concrete news as to when EA plans to end this free trial.

Titanfall 2 is a futuristic first-person shooter. The game allows soldiers to take control of hulking bipedal Titans throughout the course of each multiplayer match. It is developed by a team of Call of Duty series veteran, explaining the fantastic shooting experience integrated into the game.

In other news, Angel City — one of many built-in Titanfall 2 maps — will be featured in this free trial’s multiplayer session. The game’s first substantial DLC pack along with new content will available to everyone starting today. There will be a full offering of all maps (a remake), modes, weapons, the Wingman Elite Pistol, six new titan kits and a new pilot execution. It will be available until December 4 to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One for users who preordered the game.

If you still haven’t experienced the exhilarating adventures Titanfall 2 offers, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts are giving players a chance to do just that. And of course, without any damage to your pocket. What better way to spend your weekend than this!

Possible waning of Titanfall 2 sales:

Titanfall 2, despite scoring significantly good reviews and potentially being  “one of the best shooters of its time,” has still somehow failed to acquire a decent user base.

There was a Cyber Monday discount then its free weekend trial, two events that point to the fact the game might not be selling as well as EA anticipated. So, what better way to attract potential consumers than offering freebies?

At this point, it is still unclear if any future editions of Titanfall will ever see the light of the day, which is kind of sad. On the bright side (from a consumer’s point of view), it is always nice getting a taste of something before you lay your hard earned cash down.

If you do plan on participating in the title’s free multiplayer trial and end up buying it for good, all your progress will be carried over. Of course, you will need an Origin account to obtain the deal, which you can get (along with the game itself) at Origin.com.
