The UC Browser has long been one of the preferred browsers among Windows Phone users even as the browser isn’t available for Windows 10 phones. Fortunately, the company announced a UWP UC Browser app would soon come to Windows 10.
The confirmation came on the company’s official Twitter page, but no additional information was offered on a launch date or possible new features. Users suggest the upcoming UWP UC Browser should allow them to sync their phone bookmarks to the desktop version of the browser.
UC Browser users appreciate the browser thanks to its tab management and the ability to access favorite pages without having to go through menus. They hope the company keeps these features in the upcoming UWP app version.
The UC Browser is very simple to navigate and set up. After only five minutes, you’ll understand all that it can do and it will feel very natural to use it.
The browser has pretty much all the features you’d like, starting with Google and other search engine access from the main screen, access to bookmarks, settings and downloads from the main address bar, incognito browsing, as well as the possibility to download images or files.
This browser uses cloud acceleration and data compression technology and its servers act as a proxy. Thanks to this technology, the browser compresses web pages before sending them to users. In this manner, web content loads faster.
If you’re very active on social media, the UC Browser can be used to share information on Facebook and Twitter, and the Windows Phone app version offers you more sharing options. We expect the upcoming UWP UC Browser to bring enhanced sharing options.
