    3. Run the SFC scan

  • Go to Search, type cmd, and open the Command Prompt as Administrator.
  • Paste the following command and press Enter: sfc/scannowcritical_structure_corruption win32kfull sys
  • Wait for the process to finish.
  • Restart your computer.
  • 4. Run DISM

  • Open the Command Prompt as shown above.
  • Enter the following command and press Enter:
    • DISM.exe/Online/Cleanup-image/Restorehealth
  • Wait for the process to finish.
  • Restart your computer.
  • In case the DISM can’t obtain files online, try using your installation USB or DVD. Insert media and type the following command:
    • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:RepairSourceWindows /LimitAccess
  • Make sure to replace C:/Repair/Source/Windows path of your DVD or USB.
  • Follow further on-screen instructions.
  • 5. Check the hard drive

  • Go to My Computer, right-click your system drive (most likely C:), and go to Properties.
  • Head over to the Tools tab, click Error Checking, and go to Scan drive.Scanning the drive for errors

  • Restart your computer.
  • You can also perform the error checking in the Command Prompt:

  • Go to the Command Prompt (as shown above).
  • Enter the following line and press Enter on your keyboard: chkdsk /f C:
  • Wait for the process to finish.
  • Restart your computer.
  • 6. Use Driver Verifier Manager

  • Go to Search, type verifier, and open verifier. 
  • When the Driver Verifier Manager wizard pops up, select Create custom settings.Driver Verifier Manager

  • After that, select all the drivers that appear unofficial.
  • Click Finish.
  • Now, go to search, type cmd, and open the Command Prompt as Administrator.
  • Type in the following commands and press Enter after each one:
    • verifier /querysettings
    • verifier /reset
  • Restart your computer.
  • Driver Verifier Manager is a handy tool for resolving driver compatibility issues. This tool basically allows you to verify drivers from unofficial providers that Windows 10 doesn’t originally recognize.

  • Go to Search, type memory diagnostic, and open Memory Diagnostic Tool.

  • 8. Perform a clean install of Windows 10
