    • Users of the RE7 Gold Edition have expressed frustration in their inability to access DLC. Sometimes it takes them a lot of time to find them. The RE7 Gold Edition contains the full game and DLC.  

    It is not fun to be faced with the inability to find DLC especially if you are used to just finding them as easily as possible.

    Preliminary steps if you don’t find the RE7 Gold Edition DLC

    As we mentioned above, Resident Evil 7 should come with the DLCs and maybe they are really there and you can’t simply find them.

    Perhaps you have installed it and cannot find the DLC on the menu. Wait for some minutes after you have downloaded it and wait for it to finish installing before you search for it on your device to open it.

    ➡ Restart and toggle the game

    If you have downloaded and installed the downloadable content, and still cannot access it, toggle. That means to put a device on and off or uninstall and reinstall it.

    Simply restarting the PC and the game can fix the things just like magic. If you already did that, uninstall and reinstall the game. 

    That being said, if you still have problems accessing or getting the DLC for your RE7 Gold Edition, here are things you can do.

    How do I find the RE7 Gold Edition DLC when it is missing?

    1. Renew the license

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Account Management.
  • Choose Restore Licenses.
  • Then, click the Restore button.
  • Wait for the process to complete. 
  • Try to get the DLC again

    • If you are trying to get downloadable content, and cannot find them, it could be because you have not renewed your license.

    2. Re-activate your account

  • Go back to Account Management from the Settings menu.
  • Click on Activate as Your Primary PS4.
  • Click on Activate.
  • If the device is already selected for your device, click on Deactivate.
  • Then, click on Activate.

    • This will mean that you have to activate your device. Although it may seem little and insignificant, it goes a long way.

    Activating your device by activating and then deactivating may enable you to access digital content and downloadable content for your device.

  • Go to the PlayStation Network store.
  • Search Resident Evil 7.
  • Find the DLC within the results, download, and install it.
